Three hours ago the quartet finished recording album. I got to say, just this morning, it seemed to be impossible, because we were supposed to record 20 songs in 6 hours. I have no idea how, but (someHOW?!) we made it!
It wasn’t easy (I’m just using that as an excuse for the huge bags under my eyes. Wish I could do it every day), and it wasn’t perfect, but despite that, I enjoyed it very much! Which is strange, because I expected something very stressful. Usually I don’t like being wrong, but this is not the case. The atmosphere was great and it’s super easy to work with people who are such great musicians.
I really loved it. In a way, we materialized the time, those three weeks, spent rehearsing and it just felt good to record something that we worked on so hard.
Hopefully I won’t love it a lot less when I get to hear the actual recordings. And if I’m going to, I’ll try really hard to do what I usually do in situations like that- enjoy the little things. All the four notes out of 140347893 that I sang almost exactly as I wanted to.
